Die Tage an Bord der Turks & Caicos Explorer II beinhalten in der Regel ein Frühstück zwischen 7 und 8 Uhr (für Langschläfer gibt es auch ein kaltes Frühstück), gefolgt von zwei Tauchgängen am Morgen, Mittagessen um 12:30 Uhr, zwei Tauchgängen am Nachmittag, Abendessen um 18:30 Uhr und einem Nachttauchgang. Wenn möglich, werden Landausflüge für Interessierte organisiert.

This is not your average whale-watching tour! Every year the Silver Bank hosts 5000-7000 North Atlantic Humpback whales for mating and calving. Known as the 'Acrobats of the Sea,' the thousands of humpback whales create a dramatic show of breaching, lob tailing, fin slapping, and spy hopping. The humpback whales start to arrive in the Dominican Republic in December and leave at the end of April, reliably and predictably, creating countless opportunities for passive-in-water snorkel encounters and onboard viewing.

These special itineraries, run by world-renowned Tom Conlin of Aquatic Adventures, offer you the chance to spend a week close-up and personal with humpback whales. A life-changing experience you won't forget.

Approximately 80 miles north of the Dominican Republic, and 100 miles southeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands lie the shoals of the Silver Bank. Protected by NOAA as the "Sanctuary for the Marine Mammals of the Dominican Republic" these shoals are the world's largest mating & calving grounds for Humpback whales. The Aquatic Adventures Team collectively has over 29 seasons on the Silver Bank to date.
