MC Stingray

Embark on a 7-day/6-night dive adventure aboard the MC Stingray with Sea Bees Diving Thailand. Explore some of the most renowned dive sites in the Similan Islands, Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon, and Koh Tachai. With only 4 en-suite cabins and a maximum of 8 divers, you’ll experience an exclusive, uncrowded atmosphere. This tour runs from November 1st to May 1st, and the first day  begins with a departure from Thap Lamu Pier via our own Speedboat to the MC Stingray. For day-trip guests, they return to the mainland after their 2 daytrip dives and a maximum of 8 overnight guests stay aboard for night dive and a morning dive the next day.

Your adventure starts at 8:30 AM when you arrive at Thap Lamu Pier and meet the Sea Bees team. From there, you’ll take a speedboat to the MV Stingray, with a 1.5-hour ride (or 2.5 hours if heading to Richelieu Rock). At 10:00 AM, you’ll arrive and prepare for your first dive. The first dive will take place at one of the stunning sites in the Similan Islands or Richelieu Rock, famous for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Afterward, at 11:30 AM, you’ll enjoy a buffet-style lunch onboard. The second dive, starting at 1:30 PM, will be at a different site or Richelieu Rock itself. At 3:00 PM, day-trip guests will return to Thap Lamu Pier, while liveaboard guests can prepare for a night dive at 6:30 PM to experience the nocturnal marine life. Following the night dive, a buffet-style dinner is served at 8:30 PM. Afterward, relax in your comfortable, air-conditioned cabin. The next morning, you’ll begin your day with an exclusive morning dive at 7:00 AM before day-trip divers arrive. You can choose to stay as long as you like, with the option to return to the mainland via speedboat any evening of your choice.

The MC Stingray offers 4 newly renovated, en-suite cabins with air-conditioning. Each cabin is equipped with bunk beds for a comfortable night’s sleep, rain showers for refreshing rinses, personal storage for your gear, windows, LED mirrors, reading lights, and individual AC controls. The wide catamaran-style design of the MV Stingray offers ample space on the dive deck, which includes outdoor and indoor showers, western-style bathrooms, and space to hang and dry your dive gear. With only 8 divers aboard, there’s plenty of space to relax between dives. Our experienced dive guides are available to ensure you get the most out of each dive, and the onboard kitchen serves freshly prepared meals throughout your journey.

What’s included in the trip are all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks), water and soft drinks, tanks and weights, a dive guide, and night and morning dives for liveaboard guests. What’s excluded are diving equipment (available for rent) and the National Park Fee of 3,200 Baht for 7 days.
